Most inventory apps answer what you own. Salvo answers a different question: how did this product work for you? A two-star sunscreen with a note about pilling is more useful at the shelf than a generic ingredient score.
Filter the collection by rating or search by product, brand and category. Winners remain easy to find; disappointments remain visible enough not to repeat.
Private by design
There is no Salvo account, public profile or social feed. Your collection is stored on your devices and mirrored through your private iCloud account. The developer cannot browse your products, photos or notes.
Automatic local backups rotate in the app, and manual backup export gives you another recovery path. Optional analytics and crash reporting stay disabled until you allow them.
