These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Salvo (the "app"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app

Salvo helps you keep a personal record of products you have tried, with your own ratings, notes and photos, and recall that record later, including by scanning a product's barcode. Salvo is a personal memory aid; it is not a review platform, a marketplace, or a source of professional advice.

Your judgement, your responsibility

Ratings and notes in Salvo are your own past opinions. They are not medical, dermatological or safety advice. Always check current ingredient lists, expiry dates and warnings on the product itself, and consult a professional for skin or health concerns. Barcode matches are based on the data you saved and may be incomplete or out of date.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any barcode scan, sync or backup will succeed in every circumstance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including purchase decisions made in reliance on your saved ratings and notes.

Your content

The products, ratings, notes and photos you create remain yours. You are responsible for the content you create and for keeping your own backups (for example via iCloud). Do not save content you have no right to use.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, design, and branding are owned by the developer and protected by applicable law. Product names and brands you record belong to their respective owners; they appear in the app only as part of your personal records. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding except as needed to use the app as intended.

App Store terms

If you obtained the app through the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, Apple's EULA governs for App Store distribution.

Premium purchases

Optional subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices and trial eligibility are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by storefront. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can restore eligible purchases in Salvo.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
